Empowering the Future of Healthcare: Planned Parenthood Direct’s New Board of Directors

🌟 Exciting News from Planned Parenthood Direct 🌟
We are thrilled to welcome three exceptional leaders to the Planned Parenthood Direct Board of Directors: Tania Malik, Dr. Natasha Bhuyan, and Leah Sparks. They join our incredible current Board of Directors: Rebecca Gibron, Neil Patel, Andrea Leti, Sharon Wienbar, Suzanne Greenberg, Melissa Reed, and Zari Watkins.
We are also pleased to share that Neil Patel, Head of Venture of Redesign Health and Board Director of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, has stepped into the role of Planned Parenthood Direct Board Chair, succeeding Rebecca Gibron, CEO of Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, & Kentucky, who led as Board Chair the past four years. Additionally, Andrea Leti has taken on the Vice Chair position, succeeding Sharon Wienbar.

Her visionary leadership, together with Neil Patel stepping in as our new Board Chair, will undoubtedly propel us to new heights.”

- Tania Malik brings over 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare, including groundbreaking work in telehealth. She shares “At a time when women's rights to make reproductive decisions are under constant threat, Planned Parenthood Direct is uniquely positioned to lead the way in providing reproductive care virtually. I am honored to support women in this critical moment and deeply believe in Laura's leadership and Planned Parenthood’s mission."
- Dr. Natasha Bhuyan, Vice President and National Medical Director at One Medical for nearly a decade, is equally passionate. She shares, "I am thrilled to serve on the board of Planned Parenthood Direct, especially in these challenging times when reproductive care is becoming increasingly inaccessible. Planned Parenthood Direct’s ability to scale healthcare services and education to save lives is truly inspiring. It’s an honor to be part of this movement."
- Leah Sparks, the Founder and CEO of Wildflower Health Inc., a mobile health-engagement platform to improve healthcare quality and lower medical costs shares, “Planned Parenthood Direct is crucial to bringing technology-enabled access to essential reproductive health services, and I am thrilled to be joining the Board and supporting their work as the organization continues to transform and scale."
