Is Abortion on the Ballot in your State?
In the two years since the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, abortion has emerged as a pivotal issue in elections.
This year, many of the proposed ballot measures aim to amend state constitutions to protect abortion rights up to the point of fetal viability, roughly 24 weeks into pregnancy. Some measures are in states where abortion is currently banned, potentially challenging those post-Roe restrictions. Others are in states where abortion remains legal, but advocates argue these measures are crucial to secure protections that could be at risk depending on the outcome of the election.
After these unprecedented abortion bans and the demise of democracy as we know it, the upcoming election is a turning point for our country. All the freedoms we've fought for are on the line this year, and it’s more important than ever to get out and vote.
